The Location Guide

Choosing the perfect location is one of my favorite parts of planning your session. Every place has its own personality, mood, and story to tell. Whether you're dreaming of something cozy and intimate, adventurous and outdoorsy, or timeless and elegant, we'll find a location that feels like you.

The Studio

The studio is where creativity comes to life.

Filled with beautiful natural light, carefully curated furniture, and a growing collection of props, the possibilities are endless. Whether you're envisioning a clean, minimal look or something completely customized, the studio transforms beautifully for every session.

One of our most-loved features is the large white wall, perfect for creating custom sets or keeping things simple and timeless.

Winters Grove

A favorite for good reason.

Nestled up Ogden Canyon, Winters Grove feels peaceful and full of life. During spring and summer you'll find lush greenery, a beautiful willow tree, and access to the river. In the fall, the entire area transforms with gorgeous golden aspens.

This location requires a short 3-5 minute walk, making it an easy adventure with a beautiful payoff.

Historic 25th Street

If you love a little character and charm, this is your spot.

Historic 25th Street offers brick buildings, ivy-covered walls, hidden alleyways, staircases, and beautiful evening light. It has an urban feel while still feeling warm and welcoming.

One of my favorite locations for seniors, couples, and anyone wanting something a little different.

Please note: Paid parking is required in the public parking lots nearby.

20th Street Parking Garage

Don't let the name fool you.

This location offers so much more than a rooftop.

You'll find modern architecture, large windows, concrete staircases, clean lines, and open spaces that create a timeless, editorial feel. The rooftop also provides beautiful mountain views and incredible sunset light.

Spiral Jetty

One of the most unique locations in Utah.

The Spiral Jetty offers black volcanic rock, soft sandy textures, wide-open skies, and endless opportunities to create something artistic and unforgettable.

The Great Salt Lake sits about a 10-minute walk from the parking area, and during late summer (typically August through September), the water often turns a stunning shade of pink.

A $50 travel fee applies for this location.

Lost Creek Reservoir

If you're looking for wide-open spaces and mountain views, Lost Creek is hard to beat.

Located in Morgan County, the drive alone is worth it as you pass wildlife, rolling hills, and beautiful scenery. The area offers dramatic cliffs, dirt roads, open fields, and peaceful water views, making every direction feel like a new backdrop.

A $50 travel fee applies.

The reservoir also requires a $10 park entrance fee per vehicle, which can be purchased online before your session.

Cactus & Tropicals

A little slice of the tropics without leaving Utah.

Located in Salt Lake City, this indoor greenhouse is filled with lush greenery, colorful florals, and beautiful natural light all year long.

It's one of my favorite locations for engagements, couples, maternity, and intimate portrait sessions.

I'll take care of reserving your session time with the greenhouse.

Greenhouse rental fee: $150 per hour, paid directly to Cactus & Tropicals at check-in.

Have Somewhere Else in Mind?

These are just a handful of my favorite locations, but they're certainly not the only options.

If you have a meaningful place in mind or you're dreaming of something completely different, I'd love to hear about it. Together we'll find the perfect location that tells your story and fits the vision you have for your session.
