My goal is to create images that feel soft, elegant, and timeless. Photos that you’ll look back on years from now and still feel proud of. I work with a bright and airy style that highlights natural light, soft tones, and the beauty of simplicity. What makes my approach unique is that I don’t “over-edit” or take away the real details that make you, you. Freckles, stretch marks, smile lines these are part of your story, and they deserve to be honored, not erased. Of course, I’ll retouch distractions like blemishes or temporary marks, but I’ll never remove the everyday details that represent your life and your body. The result? Photographs that capture your true essence authentic, radiant, and worthy of celebration.

We believe boudoir is about so much more than just creating beautiful images it’s about creating a space where you can reconnect with yourself. Our studio is designed to be a safe, supportive environment where you can let your guard down, breathe a little deeper, and feel celebrated for exactly who you are. Every detail, from the cozy atmosphere to the empowerment coaching and styling, is intentionally chosen to make this more than a photoshoot. It’s an experience of self-worth, self-discovery, and self-love. The photographs you take home are important, of course but they’re only part of it. What matters most is how you feel when you leave: seen, powerful, and a little more in love with yourself than when you walked in.

The Process

1. enter the studio

When you walk through the doors, you’re walking into a safe space. Leave the stress, self-doubt, and negativity at the door it doesn’t belong here. This is your time. You’ll be welcomed with snacks, beverages, and a cozy vibe at our client snack bar. We’ll even pick out some music together to set the tone something that feels like you and helps you settle in. Think of this as the first step to grounding yourself and giving yourself permission to simply be.

2. Hair + Makeup

Next comes a little pampering. Myself, Michelle, or Jess (depending on your day) will take care of your hair and makeup. We’re all licensed professionals, but more importantly, we’re here to enhance, not mask, your natural beauty. This isn’t about transforming you into someone else. It’s about highlighting the features you already love (and maybe showing you a few you didn’t realize were so radiant). You’ll leave the chair feeling polished, cared for, and ready to step into your power.

3. Coaching

This is one of the pieces that makes our sessions truly unique. Depending on your collection, after you’re all dolled up you’ll sit down (in person or via video chat) with Shelby, our empowerment coach. Together, you’ll talk about what empowerment looks like in your life, what you’re ready to release, and how you want to feel moving forward. She’ll share practical strategies that go far beyond the studio gentle, everyday tools you can carry into your life to help you show up for yourself with more love, confidence, and grace. This moment grounds you, reconnects you to your worth, and helps you step into your session with intention.

4. Outfits

Once you’re feeling glowy and grounded, we’ll dive into styling. Whether you’re pulling from the client closet or bringing your own hand-picked pieces, we’ll curate outfits that celebrate you. Nothing is forced or cookie-cutter it’s all about what makes you feel comfortable, confident, and like the best version of yourself. Together, we’ll piece together looks that reflect both your personality and the mood you want for your session.

5. The Session

This is where the magic happens. After your hair, makeup, and coaching, everyone else will clear out so your session time is private and focused solely on you. This time is exclusive and sacred just the two of us creating together. I’ll guide you every step of the way with posing, encouragement, and direction. You don’t need to know how to “model” or worry about a single thing. My job is to make sure you feel comfortable, supported, and celebrated while we capture images that reflect your strength, softness, and everything in between.

6. Image Reveal

After your session, I’ll carefully edit your images to bring out their best while keeping them authentically you. Once everything is ready, you’ll come back to the studio for your personalized image reveal. In the comfort of my cozy client lounge, you’ll relive your experience in a slideshow that takes you right back to how you felt that day. This is one of the most special parts of the process you’ll get to see yourself through a new lens, often in ways that bring tears, laughter, and joy. Together, we’ll select your favorites, decide on products, and make sure your final collection is a reflection of your unique journey.

7. Your Final Gallery

When your selections are complete, your images will be delivered in a beautifully curated online gallery and any product orders will be placed. It’s simple, straightforward, and designed for you to enjoy again and again. But what you’ll walk away with is more than photos you’ll carry with you the memory of stepping into your worth, the tools from coaching to remind you daily of your strength, and tangible proof of just how beautiful you really are.

Our exclusive Client Closet is stocked with unique, hand-selected pieces in sizes XXS–5XL, so there’s something for every body. You’ll have the chance to browse the collection and try on some of your favorites to find what makes you feel most confident and comfortable.

To keep our space safe, clean, and respectful for everyone, we follow strict health protocols. We do ask that you bring your own pair of undies to wear underneath any borrowed pieces. I recommend bringing no-show thongs in white, skin tone, and black, since other underwear styles may peek out from the bottom of outfits.

This way, you’ll feel both prepared and carefree knowing you can simply show up, slip into something gorgeous, and focus on celebrating yourself.

What to wear

Bringing your own outfits? Perfect! This is one of the best ways to showcase your personality and wear pieces that feel uniquely you.

A lot of people think boudoir has to mean lace lingerie, but that’s not the only option. Some of my favorite images have come from outfits like:

  • A cozy oversized sweater or t-shirt

  • A simple bra + jeans combo

  • A silky pajama set

  • A favorite dress that makes you feel confident

The truth is if you feel good in it, it will photograph beautifully. Think outside the box and choose pieces that help you feel both comfortable and confident.

What not to wear

While your wardrobe is completely up to you, here are a few things I usually recommend avoiding so your images stay timeless and flattering:

  • Neon Colors – Bright fluorescents can create unflattering color casts on your skin and tend to overpower the photo.

  • Busy Patterns or Large Logos – These can distract from you and take away from the intimate feel of your images.

  • Ill-Fitting Pieces – If it’s too tight or too loose, you’ll likely feel uncomfortable, and it will show in the photos. Bring outfits that feel good to move and breathe in.

  • Shiny Fabrics – Materials like satin or cheap silk can sometimes reflect light awkwardly. If you love the look, bring them, but also pack a backup option.

  • Old/Worn Pieces – Unless they have sentimental value (like a partner’s t-shirt), avoid clothing that’s faded, stretched, or past its prime.

The goal is to choose items that help you shine, outfits that flatter your shape, showcase your style, and feel amazing when you put them on. If you’re unsure, bring it along anyway! I’ll help you decide what will photograph best.

Session Prep

A little bit of prep goes a long way in helping you feel comfortable and confident for your session! Here are a few tips to make the most out of your time in the studio:

Stretch before you come – We’ll be moving, arching, and holding poses that might use muscles you don’t normally notice. A quick stretch will help you avoid stiffness or soreness later.

Come with dry hair + a clean face – This gives our hair and makeup artists a fresh canvas to work their magic and ensures your styling lasts throughout the day.

Wear loose, non-restrictive clothing – Avoid bras, tight socks, or anything that leaves lines on your skin. A comfy sweatshirt, robe, or flowy top is perfect.

Bring your own undies – If you’re using the client closet, please bring a white, nude, and black pair of no-show thongs to wear under any borrowed items.

Accessories are optional, but encouraged – Jewelry, heels, boots, jackets, or even hats can add a unique touch to your photos. If it feels like you, bring it!

Hydrate – You’ll feel more energized and comfortable during your shoot if your body has what it needs.

Most importantly… bring yourself exactly as you are. This isn’t about “perfect” it’s about showing up for you and letting me take care of the rest..

The image reveal

The image reveal is truly one of the most meaningful parts of your experience it’s where everything comes full circle. After your session, you’ll come back to the studio and we’ll relive your day together. We’ll flip through every image, celebrate your favorite moments, and I’ll share the little details I adore about your photos (and about you).

Think of it as having your own personal hype girl in the room. I’m there to remind you just how incredible you look and how much power you brought to your session.

The best part? I make it simple and stress-free. I’ll handle all the hard work behind the scenes, from editing to product design. All you have to do is sit back, enjoy, and choose the images that speak to your heart. Whether you want to download them right to your devices or create keepsake products, everything is tailored to you.
