Absolutely! I make sure to create a comfortable environment to help eliminate any nerves. My makeup artists will only be in the studio during your styling appointment. If you scheduled one of my full collections Shelby will arrive for your empowerment coaching session shortly after you are all dolled up and leave immediately after so only you and I are in the studio during your session.

Most sessions take place in my natural light studio, Meraki Fine Art Studios a warm, inviting space tucked away in Northern Utah just off I-15. It’s private, peaceful, and designed to feel like a little escape. To make the most of the beautiful natural light, sessions are usually held in the morning or early afternoon.

I provide a prep guide to help you choose what to wear and decide what feels most authentic to you. Plus, you’ll have optional access to my client closet filled with hand-picked pieces. We’ll go over options together so you feel confident walking in.

Yes! The exclusive client closet is a complimentary add on and is welcome for use, I have a variety of styles from XXS-5XL. Keep in mind, all of my pieces require you to wear your own pair of undies underneath to keep everything clean and sanitary. I recommend bringing both a black and skin tone no show thong. You are more than welcome to bring your own outfit(s) to avoid having to wear extra garments.

I’ll guide you every step of the way with clear, easy directions that feel natural (and fun). I’ll even hop into the poses myself so you can see exactly what to do. Not at all! While most sessions take place in my cozy natural-light studio, I also offer on-location sessions for those who prefer an outdoor setting. I have a few beautiful spots we can travel to, especially for evening shoots when the light is best.

Please note that my online scheduler is set up for in-studio sessions, so if you're interested in an outdoor location, just send me an email after booking. I’ll manually adjust your session time to accommodate the best lighting and location. On-location sessions do include a small additional fee based on travel distance.

Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to arrive with your makeup already done if you prefer to style yourself. Please note that professional makeup services are included as a complimentary part of your collection, and opting out does not reduce the session price.

That said, we do recommend taking advantage of the professional makeup provided. Our artists are experienced in applying makeup specifically for photography, which helps enhance your features and ensures the best possible results in your final images. It’s also a wonderful way to feel pampered and relaxed before your session.

The easy answer is, ' the sooner the better. ' My dates tend to fill up quickly especially if you are wanting to book a weekend. Most of my clients schedule three to six months in advance. If you are wanting a product to be made in a specific time-frame book your session at least a month before you need your artwork in your hand.

The total time you'll spend at the studio depends on the collection you choose. Here's a general breakdown:

• Hair & Makeup: Approximately 1 hour

• Empowerment Coaching: Around 20 minutes

• Your Session: Anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes

I always recommend giving yourself extra time so you can relax, enjoy the experience fully, and not feel rushed. This is your time let’s make it as empowering and stress-free as possible!

Turnaround time typically ranges from 1 to 2 weeks unless your session falls near a holiday, which may cause slight delays. Once your gallery is complete, I’ll reach out to see if you’d prefer to schedule an in-person image reveal ( I highly recommend taking advantage of the in-person reveal ) or make your selections from the comfort of your home.

After your session and once your images have been professionally retouched, we’ll schedule a time for you to return to the studio for your signature reveal session. You’ll relax in our cozy reveal room and view your images on the big screen in a curated slideshow.

During this time, you’ll select your favorite images for download and explore our heirloom product options in person. It’s more than just a viewing it’s a chance to relive your experience, soak in all the beauty we created together, and feel fully celebrated. I’ll walk you through everything (and probably hype you up a little too), making the entire process fun, empowering, and totally stress-free.
